Certificate II in Retail Services is a great foundation for your career in the Retail industry. This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in a range of activities and functions requiring basic retail operational knowledge and limited practical skills. Work would be undertaken in various retail store settings, such as specialty stores, supermarkets, department stores and retail fast food outlets. Individuals may work with some autonomy or in a team but usually under close supervision

How long will it take to complete the course?

Usually participants take 9-12 months to complete the Certificate II in Retai lServices SIR20216 qualification.  The program can be completed sooner depending on experience and recognition of prior learning.

As the program is competency based, competency is achievedthrough providing evidence of competency. You will be assessed against the performance criteria of each of the Units of Competence.

Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include:

 

Certificate I in Retail Services or other relevant qualification/s

 

OR with vocational experience assisting in a range of support roles without a formal business qualification.

 

 

After achieving this qualification candidates may complete a Certificate III in Retail.

 

Fees will depend on any recognition of prior learning, government support/subsidies etc. This information be discussed at initial interview and made clear to client at time of enrolment.
